Why we’re called 1sts
Because a first name is all we ask for. First impressions handle the rest.
No profile to perfect. No bio to agonize over at midnight. No algorithm quietly deciding who deserves you. Just a room, a night, and the small brave thing of saying hello.
And not every first is romantic. Plenty of people leave our socials with a new friend, which, if you have tried to make one after thirty, you know is the harder assignment.
First dates are optional. We hear they happen.

Pick your night
Speed dating, networking, game night or a social. Each has its own price, shown on the night itself. No subscription humming along in the background.

Get your ticket
One click and you’re on the list. All we need is your first name, your age, and whether you’re a man or a woman.

Show up
At speed dating, the guest list opens 10 minutes before we start. Not a week early. Ten minutes. Some mystery is the whole point, and people show up far more reliably when they can’t shop the room from their couch.

Say who you’d see again
Mark your picks by midnight. Mutual picks trade emails. If someone picked you and you didn’t pick them, you still get theirs, and what happens next is your call. Nobody ever receives a rejection notice. That’s the deal.
Everyone you meet stays in your firsts, with the night you met them, for as long as you have an account.

For speed dating, the ticket covers the room, the host and the running of the night.
For a social, five dollars sounds like an odd number until you know what it buys. It puts you on the list, and the list is the only reason someone who liked you can reach you the next morning. Without it we are just a room full of people who will never find each other again.
That is the whole job, and doing it properly costs a little. No subscription, no upsell, no selling your details to anyone. Ever.
Speed dating tickets are not refundable
We book the same number of men and women, and we hold your place from the moment you pay. A ticket handed back the day before cannot be filled, and the person who would have sat opposite you spends that round alone. Please only buy a speed dating ticket for a night you mean to turn up to.
Change of plan? Take yourself off the list and your place goes to someone else, and your ticket stays on your account for that night in case you change your mind again.
